I'm broken...

flapping my charcoal black wings... trying to reach up to the skies... but no matter how much i flap... i kept falling... slowly descending into this realm of darkness once again...

I just need a hand to pull me up.. but i could not catch hold of any to pull me up...
This darkness enveloping me once again... this familiar coldness is creeping up to my spine.. unable to do anything... i lost my warmth... i lost my sun...

i'm too prideful to ask for any help around me... i end up with this broken wings... i gave fallen from grace... God... all i ever ask was to be happy, but i'm so blind!!
I have so many type of happiness but there's one that i could never have... please.... i want it soo bad...

when i lost it.. it is the only time i realise that i was never patient... i was too demanding... i not good at all.. i'm broken....

A Great Experience at Zing, millenium hotel.

On the 16th of november, i went to a very unique restaurent at the millenium hotel. At Zing.
The restaurant theme is very traditional chinese. The interior, the table, the chair, the cutlery are fit to the theme of a chinese restaurant.




So we are here waiting for everyone to arrive. while waiting we are serve Chinese tea. There is nothing much to explain about the tea because its just Chinese tea.
The cutlery here looks very dynastic. I love the chopstick the most! There is gold plated looking object on the top tip of the chopstick.

Here are the plate, cup of tea and spoon.


When everyone have already arrive, the chef arrives. Taking reference from the brochure, Chef Chan Kwok, Group Master Chef from Orchard Hotel, Singapore's Popular Hua Ting Restaurant.
His Dishes are renowned for unique creativity with new dishes done in traditional Cantonese-style cooking.

And here's another picture of the Chopstick again. *loves*
The first dish that is served is the Crispy roasted duck accompanied with grilled fresh scallop skewer and chilled cucumber and black fungus marinated with fruits vinegar.
I would like to make a recommendatory to the duck lovers out there because the duck here doesn't have that rusty taste to it. It is also very juicy and soft. The scallop have a special taste to it with its sauce and a little roasted taste added to it. If there are people who loves to eat something unique, the chilled cucumber and black fungus is recommended.




And for soup, we have the double boiled baby superior shark's bone cartilage. The special quality that attracted my utmost attention would be the bone cartilage that is in the soup. It is not hard at all, its very soft and chewy. The soup has a very smoothing and soft scent to the tongue. It is really a soup that can give you a enjoying and relaxing night.


The next menu we are having is the Pan Fried fillet of kurobuta pork. Kurobuta means black pig. I was amazed that the chef is able to prepare a dish by using a Japanese product and yeah, IT WAS GREAT!
When is say pork chop, what do people think of? Chewy like chewing gum, dry and hard. or maybe girls? But this Fried fillet really blast your mind people. It is as soft and juicy as a chicken chop. When you just put a small slice in your mouth, you are absolutely caught by its taste and tenderness that you just want more. The side dish accompanies well with the pork. This is the Main Dish of my week. =D




We have the Braised home made bean curd emerald bean curd with seasonal greens topped with pan fried fresh scallop. The first impression you get from this dish would be WOW! Something that is very unique and can't be found in a lot of restaurant. Its soft, juicy and a little crispy on the top.




And now we have Stewed noodle. The speciality of this dish is that it is very hard to be prepare because it uses two type of mee. If the mee stewed too long, it would stick to the pan and the difficulty is increase with another mee that takes longer time to be cooked compare to the other mee.



Lastly, our dessert is Chilled fresh fruit with aloe vera and hawthorn berries jelly. The slight lemony taste is added to bring its supreme joy to your taste buds.


Sadly to say, this dishes are only available from 15th - 21st November 2010. But the Zing restaurant is really a great place to visit.
I had exam to attend during that period that causes me not to have time to post this up. And things to be done during the weekend.

A Truly Bali Experience at Prince Hotel

On the 8th of november, i truly enjoy the taste that is brought from Bali at Prince Hotel. Even the interior design of the restaurant gives off a feeling that you are in Bali. Here are some personal views that i like.



Over here is a very special recipe of making a chicken. The chef stated that the chicken is wrap in banana leaves together with spices and seasoning. There is also spices under the skin of the chicken to preserve the moisture of the meat especially the breast.



And onwards to different unique food that are displayed.
































After taking a lot of picture, its time to take a rest. The service here is quite good and special. The waiter ask me for what drink i would like, so i said Pineapple. After drinking finish, the waiter would come and ask if i would like a refill and unexpectedly he remembers what i ordered.
*THUMBS UP!*





Now here is the bonus in this restaurant. There are desserts that are from western country.






Our local Fruits are also on serving.


Very delicious looking cakes.






As well the chocolate section, full of chocolate.. =D











And also a combination of both western and Asian. The Raw Section that serves you Raw Food, obviously.







Not to mention there is a plates of vegetable cuisine.





The most attractive things here is that the Japanese food is arranged very beautifully.

























After looking at every food that is prepared. I guess everyone is very hungry. So the opening presentation is that the chef prepares a very hard to make cuisine from Bali.
The ingredient is Corn, Coconut flakes and Coconut Milk

The procedure here is that the Coconut flakes and corn is mix together with hand.

after that, each person MUST take a spoon and takes as much as possible of the corn mix. Puts the coconut milk also as much as possible and eats it together. Yummy. I guess the hard part here is holding the mike while preparing and also having a must to taste it together.



Now here is my 1st dish that i take from the counters.

There is seafood. Seriously TASTING GOOD, when you bite it, it is very soft. Especially the prawn.

Capati is also served among the Bali Cuisine. @@

My Favourite, the chicken that is wrap in Banana Leaves. The chicken is amazingly very soft and tender. When you eat it together with the spices, WOOOW!

And here is the variety of Meats. Every meat i put in my mouth, melts like ice. It is so soft and tender..

And here is my second dish.

A salmon strip. The Salmon is cook to its perfect as it is very soft too. i have no idea but every meat i taste is good because its soft and tender. @@

The crab meat that is fried, its very crispy and chewy.

Mash Potato, not a everyday you can eat because the gravy and fillings is something very unique.

Some Tenderloin Strip, sadly its chewy~ Not soft.

Wow fish, i hate fish so much because there are a lot people that doesn't know how prepare it. Including buying NOT FRESH FISH! making the fish awfully stenchful. So its very rare for me to take fish or order it unless i know the Chef and Manager.

BUT up to my trust and expectation, there's nothing wrong with the fish. ^^
Soft and Crispy is all i have to say.

I don't really remember what this is because the name card displayed was mixed up. But the taste was really unique and GREAT!

3rd dish would be the satay, its very much different from our local satay.

4th dish would be the japanese cuisine. Erm, very normal. Since i always eat Japanese cuisine.

Dessert Time!!

The cake here is GREAT. Including the Pie, Tiramisu, Chocolate cake and Cheese Cake. WOOTS Damn nice!

Even a Beautiful Girl wants to have a taste.. NOO~~
